DeMarco Murray getting MRI on injured toe
The Tennessee Titans cruised to a 36-22 divisional victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, but they emerged from it with a bit of concern about the health of their starting running back.
Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said on Friday that DeMarco Murray, who exited briefly on Thursday with a toe injury, will have an MRI on the toe, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online. The injury isn’t thought to be serious, however.
Mularkey: @DeMarcoMurray getting an MRI on toe, doesn't think it's serious @TItans

Murray, 28, rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Jaguars, bringing him up to 756 rushing yards (tops in the league) and six touchdowns through the first eight games of the season. The two-time Pro Bowler has been impressing with the Titans after a disastrous tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015.
He’s been rather durable in recent years, playing in 53 of a possible 56 regular season games over the last four seasons. But in the appearingly unlikely event that Murray needs to miss time, rookie running back and former Heisman winner Derrick Henry would step into a featured role in the Titans backfield.
