De’Vante Bausby was taken off the field on a cart after suffering a neck injury on a helmet-to-helmet hit from a teammate during Sunday’s Denver Broncos-Los Angeles Chargers game.
At the start of the second quarter, the Chargers had a 1st-and-10 at their 31 and ran Austin Ekeler to the right. Bausby was bracing to make a tackle on Ekeler, who slipped to the ground. That left Bausby exposed as Alexander Johnson came in for the tackle and nailed Bausby in the helmet.
