Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said some members of the Philadelphia Eagles threw cheap shots at him during Thursday’s game.
Bryant, who caught just four passes for 75 yards and failed to find the end zone for the first time in over a month, got into several minor confrontations with Eagles defensive backs. He ended up with a swollen lip and told reporters after the game that he was elbowed in the hip.
“They were being kinda cheap, that’s another story,” Bryant said, via Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com. “It is what it is, I’ll get it cleaned up and I’ll be fine.”

Bryant added that the embarrassing 33-10 loss already has him circling Week 15 on the calendar.
“I’m really not mad at all,” he said. “They beat us and I’m going to accept that, but [expletive] can’t wait, but not looking past Chicago [on Dec. 4], but I cannot wait to go up there and play [Philadelphia] again, cannot wait.”
Thursday’s game was expected to be a shootout, but Philly’s defense came to play. The Cowboys weren’t able to get anything going through the air. They have now lost three of their past five games.
