Dez Bryant wants ‘fake Cowboys fans’ to jump off bandwagon
Dez Bryant was passionate in supporting Dak Prescott after Sunday night’s win, and the Dallas Cowboys receiver called out half the team’s fan base while making his feelings known.
Prescott completed an astonishing 32-of-36 passes for 279 yards and rushed for a touchdown while leading the Cowboys to victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When asked by a reporter about the quarterback controversy talk following Prescott’s rough outing against the New York Giants last week, Bryant did not hold back.
Dez on QB controversy talk last week: "I'm talking to the fake Cowboys fans, the bandwagon fans, first off, just jump off [the bandwagon]."

Let’s just say the Cowboys wouldn’t have nearly as many fans if their bandwagon fans bailed, but that’s beside the point.
The reaction to Prescott’s bad game last week proved that he is not going to escape Tony Romo’s shadow, no matter how many times the Cowboys say the rookie’s job is fully secure. In fact, Bryant can probably thank Jones for perpetuating some of the QB controversy talk after what Jones said on Sunday.
In any event, we have heard reports that Prescott would need multiple bad games in a row for the Cowboys to consider going back to Romo. Sunday night was further proof that it probably isn’t going to happen.
