
The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t chasing wide receivers via trade, at least according to their head coach.
Doug Pederson said Wednesday that the Eagles are not trying to trade for a wide receiver, contrary to some reports.

It makes sense that they would be, though, as the team could use a deep threat to help quarterback Carson Wentz. Reports had linked them to this player, and he would have made a lot of sense. Perhaps he still might and Pederson is throwing up smokescreens. With the NFL trade deadline less than a week away, we will soon find out.
