Ezekiel Elliott ripped by Dallas fans for rooting for St. Louis Blues
It didn’t take long for Ezekiel Elliott to learn that the people of Dallas are passionate about more than just the Cowboys.
When the St. Louis Blues advanced to the Western Conference finals by pummeling the Dallas Stars in Game 7 Thursday night, Elliott celebrated the victory with an innocent tweet.
LETS GO BLUES

Elliott grew up in the St. Louis area and attended school there. But now that he has been with the Cowboys for two weeks, his childhood loyalties are supposed to go out the window. Not really, but that’s how sports fans think.
After being ripped by Dallas fans, Elliott tried to justify his rooting interest. The Blues’ goalie does have the same last name as him, after all.
Dang I didn't know I couldn't root for my cousin @KidElls1

Elliott was probably too young to remember all the heat Tom Brady took from New England fans when he was seen wearing this hat. As a general rule, fans of popular sports franchises aren’t the most rational bunch.
