Report: Jaguars have had no trade offers for Yannick Ngakoue
The Jacksonville Jaguars appear to be open to moving multiple star players in advance of the NFL Draft, but they may have trouble finding a suitor for defensive end Yannick Ngakoue if they don’t lower the asking price.
The Jaguars have had discussions about Ngakoue with several teams, but NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that there has not been an official offer. Mike Garafolo adds that teams have been realizing Jacksonville wants a substantial return.
I mentioned teams called the #Jaguars about Ngakoue but realized quickly the price was high and they weren't just giving him away. Ergo no official offers. As Tom notes, the clock is ticking. https://t.co/Rjf0Ebdmtg

Ngakoue has been openly seeking a new contract dating back to last season, and he wants to be traded if the Jags aren’t willing to sign him to a long-term deal. The team placed the franchise tag on Ngakoue earlier this offseason and has until July to work out an extension, which doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen.
Therefore, any team that acquired Ngakoue in a trade would have to also sign him to an extension in order to make him happy. That’s the reason interested teams aren’t willing to give up much in the way of draft pick compensation if they’re going to have to pay Ngakoue anyway.
The Jaguars are also open to trading Leonard Fournette, but there may be a different reason they have trouble moving the star running back.
