The Dallas Cowboys lost their third consecutive game on Thursday night and, as you might expect, Jerry Jones is not handling it well.
Jones made his regularly scheduled appearance on 105.3 The Fan on Friday, but his combative attitude to start the interview was probably something fans are not accustomed to hearing. Jones cursed multiple times, and he seemed furious when asked if he is “embarrassed” with the way things are going for the Cowboys.
Jerry Jones to start his @1053thefan interview when asked if he’s embarrassed: “Get your damn act together yourself. OK? Settle down just a little bit. … I don’t like your attitude to come in. I’ve been traveling all night and don’t have the patience to jack with you today.”

The call dropped at one point during the interview after Jones used the term “bulls—.” While he seemed angry with the current state of affairs in Dallas, he placed the blame for the team’s struggles on himself.
“I completely understand the fans’ frustration with me,” Jones said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic.
Jones is right that he bears a lot of the responsibility for the Cowboys spiraling out of control. It probably was not wise of him to publicly bash Jason Garrett and the coaching staff after a loss to the New England Patriots a few weeks back, as Dallas was — and still is — very much in the playoff hunt. Now, it seems like everyone knows Garrett is a dead man walking, and it’s only natural for players to tune a coach out in a situation like that.
The NFC East is so weak that the Cowboys can still win the division despite their 6-7 record, but Troy Aikman seems to think Thursday night’s loss to the Chicago Bears sealed their fate. Perhaps Jerry feels the same way.
