Josh Gordon does Gronk spike after catching first TD with Patriots
Josh Gordon caught a history-making touchdown pass from Tom Brady on Thursday night and then did a tribute to one of his teammates.
Gordon stole a ball thrown between two Indianapolis Colts defenders in the end zone for a 34-yard TD catch to put the New England Patriots up 31-17 in the fourth quarter. After catching his TD, Gordon cleared some space and spiked the ball, seemingly as a tribute to Rob Gronkowski.

That was Gordon’s first touchdown catch since joining the Patriots. It was Tom Brady’s 500th career touchdown pass, making him only the third player in NFL history to throw that many (Peyton Manning and Brett Favre are the others). Brady also set a record by throwing a touchdown to his 71st teammate.
There were so many noteworthy aspects of that score, and the celebration was definitely one of the highlights.
