Le’Veon Bell says he will continue being ‘bad guy’ for good of NFL
Le’Veon Bell has decided to continue his holdout into the regular season to send a message to the Pittsburgh Steelers about not signing him to a long-term contract, and the star running back feels he is taking a stance for all players in the NFL.
On Sunday, Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was shown giving the middle finger to his own sideline as he was carted off the field with a broken leg. Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner was one of the teammates who expressed support for Thomas after the game, and Le’Veon Bell chimed in with an interesting comment on Instagram.

Bell’s actions have obviously been viewed as selfish, as the Steelers are worse off without him on the field. Unlike Bell, Thomas at least reported to work for regular season games and did not leave his teammates in a bad spot. That’s why Bell is right that people view him as the “bad guy.”
With Thomas, we have already seen his veteran teammates defend his actions on Sunday. Bell’s teammates, on the other hand, unloaded on him for abandoning the team by continuing to stay away. The goals of Bell and Thomas may have been aligned, but their approaches were much different.
