Lions fans pull off savage move in huge win over Vikings
Detroit Lions supporters on Sunday added some salt to Minnesota Vikings fans’ wounds as their two teams faced off at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich.
The Lions held a commanding 31-9 lead and had possession with just a few minutes left in the contest. With the game’s result all but wrapped up, Detroit fans savored the moment by trolling Vikings fans with their own rendition of the latter’s signature Skol chant.
Lions fans breakout the SKOL chant, while over hearing from what I assume is a 12-year old βthis is the biggest 2 million dollars ever wasted.β ππ pic.twitter.com/LFLIR1Qzk2

The Vikings’ 31-9 loss to the Lions snapped Minnesota’s 9-game winning streak.
Lions fans probably caught wind of the Vikings spending millions of dollars to secure seats for some of Minnesota’s season ticket holders. Thousands of Vikings fans made the trip to Detroit only to hear the home crowd mock them during the lopsided game.
With their victory in Week 18, the Lions secured the top seed in the NFC and a first-round bye to start the playoffs. Despite Minnesota’s stellar 14-3 record, the team fell to the NFC’s 5th seed and will have to go on the road to face the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round.
But the Lions’ win Sunday did not come without a cost. Detroit lost yet another top defender to injury with the postseason just around the corner.
