Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison was reportedly shot at while driving his truck on Saturday morning.
According to David Gambacorta of the Philadelphia Daily News, Harrison was driving his Ford F-350 pickup through a neighborhood near Philly when a 38-year-old was sprinting from his apartment after it had allegedly been broken into. The man, who was wearing his underwear, begged Harrison to let him jump in the bed of his truck. Two burglars then reportedly came sprinting out of the apartment and shot at Harrison’s truck.
Fortunately, the bullet missed both Harrison and the man who lives in the apartment. It supposedly hit one of Harrison’s tires, which went eventually went flat. The assailants, described as a 5-foot-5 black male wearing dark clothing and a mask and a 6-foot-1 black male wearing similar clothing, fled in a dark-colored sedan.

The victim told police that the burglars stole $500 in cash from his apartment. It is unclear if he had a previous connection to the men. Harrison was interviewed by investigators and agreed to turn over the truck tire that was hit by the bullet.
Harrison was investigated for a shooting in the Philadelphia area back in 2008. He was accused of shooting a man in the hand during a fight near his garage in North Philly. Police later said evidence proved several shots were fired from a gun owned by Harrison. He was never charged after suspects and witnesses gave several different accounts of what had happened.
