Mike Zimmer: Clocks at Soldier Field are ‘bulls–t’ (Video)
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was ticked after his team lost 21-13 to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday and was highly critical of the clocks.
The clocks were not working for a good part of the second half, leaving the officials to communicate how much time was left in the game. That was particularly disruptive for the Vikings as they were trying to engineer a comeback drive.
Zimmer said the “clocks (at Soldier Field) are bulls–t. That’s another thing. …Excuse my language,” after the game.
Zimmer also had to keep checking different clocks depending on which one was working, because typically only one of four worked at a time.
