Report: Raiders have not spoken with Khalil Mack since February
Khalil Mack has been holding out of training camp with the Oakland Raiders in hopes of securing a long-term contract extension, but it does not sound like the team has gotten anywhere at all in negotiations with the star defensive end.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders do not have an outstanding contract offer to Mack, which makes sense considering the two sides have not spoken in the past five or six months.
Leaving Napa, I’m told there is no present offer from the #Raiders to star pass-rusher Khalil Mack and there has been no contract talks with Mack’s camp since February.

The relationship between Mack and the Raiders does not appear to be in a good place at the moment, as he also has reportedly not spoken with new head coach Jon Gruden a single time.
Mack is in the final year of his rookie contract and set to make just over $13 million, but he’s a former Defensive Player of the Year and deserving of a long-term deal. While he’s expected to eventually set a record for guaranteed money, he doesn’t have much leverage since Oakland can just franchise tag him next offseason.
