Rams activate Aqib Talib from injured reserve
The Los Angeles Rams will strengthen their secondary this week as they head into the stretch run of the regular season.
The Rams activated cornerback Aqib Talib from injured reserve on Friday, likely setting him up to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

Rams coach Sean McVay had said this would happen on Thursday, and the cornerback is expected to play a limited role. The Rams can clinch the NFC West with either a win or a Seattle loss, so there’s no extreme urgency to get Talib as many reps as possible. The focus will be on having him ready and at full strength for the playoffs.
Talib hasn’t played since Week 3 with a high ankle sprain. He’ll have five games to get himself playoff-ready and up to full strength.
