Randy Moss: JJ Watt bringing ‘winners’ together while ‘losers’ protest racism
Randy Moss spent some time on Sunday morning praising JJ Watt and everyone else who has lended a helping hand as two major hurricanes rock the United States in less than a month, but the former NFL receiver was criticized for the way he delivered said praise.
Moss said he is thrilled to see Watt bringing “winners” together for the common good, which was fine. However, he ruffled some feathers by criticizing “losers” who protest racism. Here’s the video:

“Over the last month, we’ve had a lot of losers out here in our country protesting racism and doing a lot of negative stuff that puts a lot of bad shame on our country,” Moss said. “When you see the things that JJ Watt is doing, bringing winners together — you know, bringing a community and a whole state together…”
Moss didn’t really elaborate, and he may have been referring to protests that have turned violent. Still, it seemed odd to compare hurricane relief to the social rights movement, and guys like Shannon Sharpe would probably feel the same way about Moss’s comments that he felt about the ones NFL legend Jim Brown recently made.
For what it’s worth, Moss also said that he will be helping former NBA player Stephen Jackson by donating supplies to communities that have been hit by hurricanes.
