Robert Griffin III has been away from football for an entire year after no team signed him in 2017, but he will have a chance to prove himself again this offseason.
The Baltimore Ravens announced on Wednesday that they have signed Griffin to a one-year deal.

Griffin, who recently got married for the second time, has not appeared in an NFL game since he was with the Cleveland Browns in 2016. A previous report indicated that RG3 received a contract offer from the Ravens and one other team during training camp last year, but he may have been holding out for a better situation.
Griffin said last season that he was confident he would get another shot at some point and has been continuing to prepare accordingly. He has shown that he is bitter about his career path with some of the tweets he sent, so he must be relieved that a team is finally giving him a look.
