Bills third year receiver Steve Johnson is developing into a star before our eyes. The former 7th round pick exploded for eight catches, 137 yards and three touchdowns in a comeback win Sunday over the Bengals. He now has 52 catches for 728 yards and nine touchdowns on the year. Johnson knew he was going to score Sunday, evidenced by his planned celebration. After getting into the end zone for the first time, Johnson lifted his jersey to reveal writing on his undershirt that said “Why So Serious.” Check it out:
In case you’re wondering about the reference, the Joker said that line in the Batman movie. Apparently Johnson was calling himself the Joker to Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens’ Batman and Robin. Give Johnson some points for the creativity. Maybe next time he’ll have two additional celebrations planned.
