Tom Brady has some advice for Drew Brees after filing for Tampa trademarks
Tom Brady has wasted no time trying to profit from the clever phrases that were born when he decided to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the 42-year-old doesn’t understand why Drew Brees has not been doing the same.
After word surfaced on Friday that Brady has filed for trademarks for the phrases “Tompa Bay” and “Tampa Brady,” the four-time Super Bowl MVP took to Twitter to offer some lighthearted advice for Brees.

Brady may have more money than most people would know what to do with, but he has every right to profit off of his own name. This is the first time in his Hall of Fame career that he has been able to market himself to a new city, so you can’t blame him for trying to take advantage of that.
And if Brees hasn’t tried to trademark “Drew Orleans” or any other clever Saints-related phrase, it could be because he was focused on the huge decision he just made for his post-playing career.
