Von Miller has been reunited with his Super Bowl 50 helmet.
Miller’s helmet worn during Super Bowl 50, for which he was named MVP, went missing, though he didn’t know about it.
It wasn’t until the highly publicized scandal of Tom Brady’s Super Bowl jersey going missing that investigators realized the man who took the Patriots QB’s jersey, Mauricio Ortega, was also allegedly responsible for the theft of Miller’s helmet.
The Broncos linebacker was so consumed with celebrating he didn’t realize he had lost the piece of memorabilia. But the helmet was recovered at Ortega’s home, according to investigators.
After the helmet was authenticated, the FBI gave it to Miller at the Broncos’ facility on Wednesday:

“That’s how crazy last year was,” Miller said last week, via the Denver Post. “We had the best of the best and the finest investigators on the whole ordeal. They were able to find Tom’s jersey and they were able to find my helmet as well. Hats off to those guys.”
