Henrik Stenson was one of the favorites heading into the 2015 Masters, and the 39-year-old Swede has not lived up to expectations. As of Friday afternoon, Stenson was hovering just above the cut line at +1 through 36 holes.
The most notable thing Stenson did during his second round at Augusta was snap a club over his leg on the 15th hole.
Stenson had hit a terrible tee shot and then nailed a tree with his second shot. He carded a bogey on a par-5 hole that he could have desperately used a birdie on.
If that club snap looked familiar, it’s probably because you saw Stenson do the exact same thing at last year’s British Open. He also slammed his driver in frustration and snapped it during a tournament a couple years ago. I guess you can say he has a bit of a temper.
