Ray Lewis, Cris Carter to be replaced at ESPN by Randy Moss
ESPN is making major moves as part of a cost-cutting initiative, and there NFL coverage is going to look a lot different. We already know that Mike Tirico is out and that Sean McDonough will replace him, and there are reports that Trent Dilfer is leaving, too. Now another report says Ray Lewis and Cris Carter are on their way out and expected to be replaced by Randy Moss.
The Big Lead reports the news about Lewis and Carter leaving, with Moss, who has been part of FOX’s NFL coverage, expected to enter the picture.
So far there are no comments from the networks on the impending moves.

Additionally, Charles Woodson and Matt Hasselbeck are new parts of the ESPN team, with Mike Ditka getting a decreased role.
As much as we love mocking Lewis for things like his Patriot hate and disjointed speeches, we’re going to miss him because he’s entertaining. Carter, on the other hand, is just a poor analyst who is also a liability for the company in light of these comments. They’re much better off without him.
We’re also big Randy Moss fans, so any network that has him on staff is doing a good job in our eyes.
