LeBron James shaved his head
LeBron James has finally allowed his receding hairline to win. The two-time NBA champion has been moving his headband further and further up his head for the past several years in an attempt to hide the fact that he is going bald. There have even been crazy rumors that he rectified the issue by getting hair plugs, but those turned out to be untrue.
On Tuesday, photos of LeBron in the Philippines for Nike’s “Witness History Tour” began circling the web. If you noticed something different about King James, it’s probably that he has nothing but stubble remaining on the top of his head. Above, you see the old LeBron. Here is the LeBron that has decided to waive the white flag:

There have been a lot of questions about whether the photo above is real because of a photoshopped image on Reddit, but several other photos from the AP prove that LeBron’s hair is shorter than ever. The photos were taken last month.
Now, we will get a chance to see if LeBron really was trying to hide something under the high headband or if that is simply his preferred look. In his defense, James has even mocked his own hairline in the past and done a good job of proving that the criticism doesn’t faze him. At age age 28 going on 29 in a few months, the new look seems well-timed.
