The Minnesota Timberwolves won the NBA draft lottery on Tuesday night and celebrated like a bunch of mad men.
This video was uploaded to YouTube by the T-Wolves and it shows coach/GM Flip Saunders and others cheering each time another team’s ping pong ball came up before theirs. Saunders was the most vocal, yelling, “Just give me one more!” before they won the top overall pick.
I don’t know, there’s just something funny about watching a bunch of grown men in suits go nuts celebrating like they just hit game-winning shots in Game 7.
Now the question is who will the T-Wolves draft to pair with Andrew Wiggins, whom they acquired in a trade with the Cavs last year. Jahlil Okafor could be the guy considering Karl-Anthony Towns doesn’t seem to interested in going there.
