These big companies always receive more trouble for their short sited policies on “broadcast rights” & such than they would form any “competition”.

Not surprising. Once again, the students get screwed by big business. I guess college sports is more about the money than the student. But we all knew that. It’s too bad.

I couldn’t agree more with you Larry - I’m a proud alum of a high school student radio program (http://www.881theescape.com) and I would never be where I am today without having had that 4 years of experience.

The STUDENT comes first in high school and college athletics and that’s a serious swipe in the face of many students who have given so much to participate in a career building academic program.

Weak shit. NCAA should recognize that as much as this is an organization, with our public schools, these sports are for the students as much or more than the national viewing public and commercial interests. Weak shit.
