Evelyn Lozada is Evelyn Ochocinco for now, Chad Johnson is legally Chad Johnson

When Evelyn Lozada agreed to marry Chad Ochocinco, we thought it was safe to assume she never had any intention of becoming Evelyn Ochocinco. As it turns out, that is kind of not true. Last week, Chad legally changed his last name back to Johnson. According to TMZ.com, Evelyn technically took the last name Ochocinco after the wedding in early July. Like Chad, she planned on changing her last name to Johnson. It just hasn’t happened yet.

Lozada — excuse me, Ochocinco — has reportedly yet to receive her official marriage paperwork. Until she does, she cannot change her last name to Johnson. Therefore she and Chad have different last names for the time being, and unfortunately hers is the idiotic one.

But that’s not all. TMZ also reported that Chad is not completely done with the name Ochocinco. He still wants it to be a part of his name, so he is planning on adding it back to his last name before the Johnson when the season comes to a close. I don’t know exactly how this is going to work from a legal standpoint, but I guess that means his wife will then be Evelyn Lozado Ochocinco Johnson.

We know Chad has more than a few screws loose, but at this point I’m starting to think Evelyn isn’t that far behind. She accepted a marriage proposal that Chad delivered while playing a video game and allowed him to live tweet during their wedding. Now, she is willing to let “Ochocinco” be a part of her life forever.
