Jaguars suspend Dante Fowler for fight with teammate
The Jacksonville Jaguars are sending a message to some of their players.
The Jaguars on Sunday suspended both Jalen Ramsey and Dante Fowler for a week. Fowler fought with a teammate at practice on Sunday, leading to his suspension. ESPN’s Adam Schefter says the suspension was for fighting and a violation of team rules.
Jaguars also suspended Dante Fowler for one week for fighting and violation of team rules, per team official. So no Dante Fowler and no Jalen Ramsey for the next week. Both suspended.

The Florida Times-Union says Fowler was repeatedly fighting with teammate Yannick Ngakoue at practice.
Ramsey’s suspension was for going after a team reporter on Twitter. Ramsey was upset with the media for reporting about the fights that took place at practice, as well as other coverage about him he felt was negative, the Florida Times-Union reported.
The Jags’ next preseason game is at Minnesota on Saturday.
