Michael Vick is taking his dog to training classes

Is there any website more plugged-in to the pet life of Michael Vick than Crossing Broad? In October, the Philly sports site was first to point out that Vick had a box of dog treats on the dining table at his home. After the picture of Vick’s dog treats went viral, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback confirmed that he is a dog owner once again. Now Crossing Broad is sharing word that Vick is taking his pooch to training classes.

According to Crossing Broad’s tipsters, Vick signed up for six dog training classes at a New Jersey PetSmart. The classes are weekly, and Vick, his family and a bodyguard reportedly have been attending dog training classes for Angel, the family’s Belgian Malinois.

Some people are still outraged that Vick has anything to do with a dog, but I’m not. The man did more than his share of time in prison for his crimes, and he appears to be trying to show he has changed. He is not running a pit bull dog fighting ring anymore; he has a family pet dog. There are a lot of worse things one could be doing with a pet than taking it to training classes.
