Patriots change Twitter, Facebook avatar to Tom Brady picture

The New England Patriots are using multiple platforms to showcase their support for Tom Brady in the wake of his suspension for Deflategate.

On Tuesday, the Patriots changed the avatar on their official Twitter and Facebook accounts to a photo of Brady’s jersey, which you can see above.

After Brady was hit with a four-game suspension on Monday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft released a statement that concluded with a message about his franchise quarterback.

“Tom Brady has our unconditional support,” Kraft wrote. “Our belief in him has not wavered.”

Brady’s agent, Don Yee, later said in a statement that the Wells report will be exposed in the coming days. Brady is planning to appeal his suspension, and some have speculated that Kraft could be angry enough to sue the NFL and his old pal Roger Goodell.

The Ted Wells report concluded that Bill Belichick and the Patriots organization as a whole were unaware of the arrangement Brady allegedly had with team equipment managers. If that’s true, it would be fair to wonder if Belichick and Kraft are angry with their three-time Super Bowl MVP. If they are, they’re not going to show it publicly.
