Tyrod Taylor has sprained MCL, could miss multiple games

Tyrod-Taylor

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor is reportedly in danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals and beyond.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Taylor suffered a sprained MCL on a horse-collar tackle during his team’s win over the Tennessee Titans. The injury could force him to miss multiple games, and the Bills are preparing for E.J. Manuel to start on Sunday.

The 3-2 Bills are fighting to remain close to the New England Patriots, who are currently 4-0 and sitting atop the AFC East. Taylor has played extremely well this season and given Buffalo a chance to win every week. He ranks seventh in the NFL with a 103.6 passer rating and has thrown nine touchdowns compared to four interceptions.

As we mentioned previously, you have to wonder if the Bills are regretting a certain trade they made just a few weeks ago. Don’t be surprised if Taylor misses just one game or ends up playing against the Bengals. Buffalo cannot afford to lose him for an extended period of time.
