The Chicago White Sox could allow an interesting new name to enter the starting pitching market.
According to Peter Gammons of MLB.com, the White Sox are willing to discuss any of their current players, including pitcher Carlos Rodon, who is proving to be popular among opposing teams.
Knowing White Sox are willing to talk on anyone, scouta seeing Carlos Rodon hitting 98 has led to a lot of inquiries

Rodon has pitched well since coming off the disabled list in June, with a 3.38 ERA in eight starts. His last two outings, in which he’s allowed just five hits while striking out 15 in his last 15 innings, have been particularly excellent. He would also be under team control through 2021, which is likely to make the asking price significant.
One issue would likely be Rodon’s injury history, as he had shoulder surgery last season. He has had other issues, though those have been more fluky than anything else.
