Since the signing of Japanese free agent Shohei Ohtani, there has been very little movement on the pitcher free agent market. Yu Darvish remains one of the biggest — if not the biggest — pitchers on the market. And the Minnesota Twins are among the teams with heavy interest in him.
Fan Rag Sports’ Jon Heyman says the Twins remain interested and in contact with Darvish.
twins remain interested & in contact with top pitching target yu darvish but with the familiarity gm thad levine has with darvish from days together in texas (levine was also a key person in the texas recruiting process) they don't see a meeting as a necessity — not yet anyway.

The Twins have been mentioned as a team with interest in Darvish for a few months. The Cubs and Astros are among the teams believed to have met with the free agent pitcher.
Once Darvish makes his decision, Jake Arrieta and Alex Cobb would probably be the next dominoes to fall on the pitching market.
