DeMar DeRozan has been frequently linked to Los Angeles, but it appears that he is not interested in going there or anywhere other than Toronto.
According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, DeRozan does not plan on visiting with any teams because he is focused on making a deal with the Raptors to stay with the team long-term.
A source told ESPN that DeRozan would only meet with other teams if talks with Toronto went poorly.
The Los Angeles Lakers have cap space and DeRozan is from the area, so there was a lot of speculation that he would be going there this summer. The guard has maintained all along, however, that he wants to stay with Toronto for his entire career. It appears that he was telling the truth.
