Draymond Green wants NBA to let Drake keep doing his thing
Draymond Green got into it with Drake as he was walking off the court following the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, but that does not mean he thinks the rapper needs to slow his role going forward.
Green was asked about Drake once again while meeting with reporters on Friday, and he defended the Raptors ambassador’s controversial antics. Many feel the NBA needs to force Drake to stay in his seat like any other fan, but Green thinks he has earned the special treatment he gets.
"He worked to be who he is. You should get more leash. I don’t mind it. It’s fun for me."

“So many people have complained about it like, ‘You don’t let other fans do that,'” Green said. “Yeah, any other fan isn’t Drake, so he should be able to do that. That’s how the cookie crumbles”
Drake came face-to-face with both Green and Stephen Curry at one point on Thursday night, and he even picked something out of Curry’s hair and later trolled him over it on Instagram. Fans may think that crosses the line, but it seems like the Warriors enjoy the back and forth.
Remember, Drake has tattoos paying tribute to two Warriors players that he covered up for Game 1, so he has a good relationship with players on the Golden State side. He may even provide them with motivation going into Game 2, and Green clearly thinks the musician has earned the status he has been given by the Raptors.
