Great tweet about Angel Reese goes viral

Angel Reese believes she should be getting just as much attention as Caitlin Clark, but the social media post about her that went viral this week is probably not what the Chicago Sky rookie had in mind.
Reese had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in Chicago’s 88-75 win over the New York Liberty on Tuesday night. The former LSU star had a rough night shooting, however, as she made just 3/12 shots from the field. One person pointed that out with a funny post on X comparing Reese to Jontay Porter.

The post was viewed more than 4 million times as of Thursday morning.
Porter, who played for the Toronto Raptors, was recently banned for life by the NBA after it was discovered he was betting on NBA games, including ones involving his own team. Investigators determined that Porter would tip off bettors about his plans to leave Raptors games with fake issues in order for the bettors to win proposition bets involving his stat lines for those games. The bettors would wager that Porter’s stats for a game would be lower than his usual amount.
In other words, the joke about Reese was that she missed more shots than a player who was missing shots on purpose.
Reese was mocked this week for some ridiculous remarks she made about bringing attention to the WNBA.
