Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward will get a late start to his season after dislocating and breaking a finger on his left hand.
According to Jody Genessy of the Desert News, Hayward will be reevaluated in three weeks, but the timetable doesn’t sound promising to get him back for the start of the season.

Hayward, who is potentially entering a contract year, is a vital member of Utah’s core and has been one of the team’s most durable players. For a team that has some playoff aspirations, not having Hayward to start the season will definitely hurt, but better now than in two or three weeks.
