NBA will not punish LeBron James for ‘Jewish money’ post
LeBron James will face no action for a recent post in which he made a reference to “Jewish money.”
James posted a set of rap lyrics that made the reference, which was an allusion to a negative stereotype about Jewish materialism. James said he did not realize the lyrics had negative connotations, and the NBA accepted that explanation.
The league office has been in contact with LeBron James about his social media post referencing "Jewish money," accepted his explanation that he made a mistake and the NBA will take no action, league source tells ESPN.

James has been in a lot of hot water over some of his recent comments, though other controversies came about for basketball reasons.. This one, at least, appeared to be an innocent mistake that he quickly apologized for, which is why the NBA is content to move on without taking any action.
