In further proof that he might actually be a Jedi Knight, Warriors megastar guard Stephen Curry is apparently working to master the art of Force Heal.
According to a report by Monte Pool of Comcast SportsNet on Friday, Curry will try return to action before May 9, the date he was given as a part of his original two-week timetable for a Grade 1 sprain of the MCL in his right knee.
More Steph: He will try to return ahead of original 2-wk minimum absence. (May 9)

Curry was injured when he slipped on the court during Game 4 of Golden State’s first-round series against the Houston Rockets (video here). Prior to that, he was dealing with an ankle tweak suffered in Game 1.
The Dubs have done just fine in the absence of the reigning MVP, winning the game Curry hurt his knee in by 27 points and taking Game 5 by an even more lopsided margin of 33 points to advance to the Western Conference Semis. There, they await the winner of the Clippers-Blazers series, one that could finish as late as Sunday, May 1 if it goes the full seven games.
Wardell II is essentially guaranteed to miss the first couple of games of the Conference Semifinals. But this latest development is another bit of great news for the Warriors as they look to complete the greatest regular season in NBA history with a successful championship defense.
