Wilson Chandler: Whoever runs Nuggets social media accounts ‘pretty wack’
Professional sports teams are, more than ever, using social media to help promote themselves and interact with fans. Most of the time, posts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts are harmless, fun, and provide access otherwise not granted. Other times, they can not be received too well.
Wilson Chandler, who recently underwent successful hip surgery that will sideline him for the remainder of the season, took to his Twitter account on Saturday to let his feelings be known that he’s not particularly a fan of who runs this social media accounts of his employer.

Matt Moore of CBS Sports attempted to get to the source of the Chandler’s displeasure, but was unsuccessful with Chandler just responding it wasn’t anything specific, just in general.

Chandler appeared with a few teammates at a Boston Market earlier in the day to pass out meals to those in need and, as Moore noted, Chandler was billed as the headliner.

The following post appeared on the Twitter account for the Nuggets in relation to the event on Saturday.

Chandler has been with the Nuggets since 2011. And, while it’s unclear what he has had an issue with over the years, it’s clearly apparent he could do without some of the posts made by Denver’s social media department.
