
College football is still sorting out how to progress as the coronavirus pandemic continues, and a new plan may be taking shape.
Longtime sports broadcasting personality Dan Patrick said on Monday’s episode of “The Dan Patrick Show” that consensus is growing around a slightly abbreviated season. It would include ten games and nine conference games, the latter of which would take precedence. Fan attendance would be limited.
Patrick also said there is concern for the Pac-12, due to how the situation is progressing in the state of California.
DP got some information in regards to College Football last night.. If things progress at the predicted curve it the consensus we'll have a 10 game CFB schedule with a later start to the season.

One of the growing problems is ongoing restrictions and limits on large in-person gatherings into the summer months, which will make it very difficult for schools to do their normal offseason work.
The NCAA needs to see a steady decline in new infections before it can think about restarting. We’re not there yet, and we don’t know when we will be. It’s why contingency planning like this is ultimately necessary.
