Teddy Bridgewater makes ridiculous plays on touchdown drive (Video)
At the same time that the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars were playing what some termed a “Bridgewater Bowl,” Teddy Bridgewater was balling out for Louisville against Cincinnati.
The Cardinals quarterback led his team on an 86-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter against the Bearcats that put his team up 17-14. First Bridgewater converted a 4th-and-12 from the Bearcats 38:
Three plays later, he escaped trouble in the pocket and somehow managed to throw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Damian Copeland:
Bridgewater was looking like Johnny Football on the escape and Matthew Stafford with the sidearm throw. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, he led Louisville on another touchdown drive a few minutes later to help them retake the lead.
Bridgewater finished 23-of-37 for 255 yards, 3 touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for 17 yards in the 31-24 overtime win.
