Texas DL Keondre Coburn trolls Baker Mayfield with legendary tweet

Texas freshman defensive lineman Keondre Coburn trolled Baker Mayfield with a legendary tweet on Saturday.

Coburn’s Longhorns beat Oklahoma 48-45 in the Red River Rivalry game at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. After the game, Coburn sent a tweet directed at former Sooners star Mayfield saying, “a promise is a promise.”

The tweet contained a screenshot of Coburn’s promise that Texas would beat Oklahoma while he was in school. The tweet was sent in February when Coburn had committed to the Longhorns. Mayfield took a shot at Coburn in response in a since-deleted tweet.

Mayfield has yet to respond.
