Adrian Peterson to remain with Redskins on two-year deal
Adrian Peterson proved to be a huge addition for the Washington Redskins last season when he rushed for over 1,000 yards for the first time in four seasons, and it is no surprise the team is bringing him back.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Peterson has agreed to sign a two-year, $8 million deal with Washington.
The #Redskins are re-signing RB Adrian Peterson to a 2-year deal worth $8M, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. His career resurgence continues in Washington.

Peterson averaged 4.2 yards per carry and appeared in all 16 games for the Redskins. We know of at least one other team that showed interest in the soon-to-be 34-year-old, and there were likely others.
