The Denver Broncos fear that tight end Jake Butt has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, according to a report.
Butt did not practice on Thursday because of his knee. NFL Media’s James Palmer reported that But injured his knee in a walk-through in non-contact fashion.
My understanding is Broncos TE Jake Butt, who was absent from practice today, injured his left knee in a walkthrough going about 1/2 speed and it was non contact. He is getting a MRI. He tore his right ACL in his final college game two years ago and spent last season recovering

Butt is undergoing an MRI, but the Broncos are concerned about his ACL.

This would not be Butt’s first ACL injury.
The former Michigan standout tore the ACL in his right knee during the bowl game in his senior season. The injury led him to go from potential first-round pick to a fifth-round pick and caused him to miss all of last season.
Butt has 8 catches for 85 yards in three games this season.
