There are two coaches in the NFL whose seats appear to be hotter than everyone else’s.
Sportsbetting.ag has provided odds for which NFL head coach will be the first one fired this season. Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has been favored for a while, but now he has a challenger. Though McDaniel is still favored at -150 to be the first head coach fired, Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan is not far behind at +150.
Callahan was at 10/1 but has now moved to +150 because of how bad his Titans looked in a 41-20 loss at home to the Indianapolis Colts. The Titans are 0-3, and their 43-point differential is tied with the New Orleans Saints for the worst in the league.
New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is also in the mix at +300 to be the first coach fired. The quarterback change this week from Russell Wilson to Jaxson Dart has put him squarely on the hot seat. His Giants have also begun the season 0-3.
Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris is next on the list at +900, as the team’s ugly 30-0 loss reflected poorly upon him.
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is …. just kidding. Just wanted to check if you were still reading. He’s not even in consideration for any such wager. Kellen Moore is on the list at +5000 after his bad start with the New Orleans Saints, but he may have some leeway since this is his first season on the job.
