Andrew Luck says he is close to being cleared to return to practice as he continues to recover from a lacerated kidney, but one report about his availability for 2015 does not sound overly optimistic.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there is “uncertainty” about when Luck will return to game action and if he will be able to play again this season.

Colts fans shouldn’t panic just yet, as Luck insists he will play again in 2015.

This has been an incredibly disappointing season for the Colts, yet they somehow remain in a tie for first in the AFC South with a 6-7 record. Injuries have been a major factor, as Luck has been out and veteran backup Matt Hasselbeck has his arm in a sling and might not be available this weekend.
Assuming Luck does return this year, there’s no reason the Colts can’t win their miserable division and sneak into the playoffs. And if Luck does get back under center in the near future, he would be wise to listen to Chuck Pagano’s recent advice.
