The fans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington embarrassed themselves with a poor display during Sunday’s game between the Cowboys and Washington Redskins.
Washington cornerback Dashaun Phillips was down after colliding with Darren McFadden while trying to make a tackle in the second quarter. The man was carted off the field and taken in a stretcher to the hospital for examination.
INJURY UPDATE: CB Dashaun Phillips (neck) is OUT. He is being transported to local hospital for evaluation; has movement in all extremities.

Meanwhile, the fans may have become restless while he was being cared for. They began to do the wave:

That’s a pretty insensitive act by the fans.
Maybe the Cowboys should resort to this again, though I’m not sure it would help much.
