The Baltimore Ravens were gashed by the Cleveland Browns on the ground in Sunday’s 40-25 loss, and Earl Thomas was not happy about it. He was so upset that he reportedly took issue with a teammate after the game.
NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo reported on Sunday that Thomas got heated with Brandon Williams in the training room after the game. Thomas apparently was upset Williams, a Pro Bowler last year, was inactive after being added to the injury report on Saturday due to his knee.
Taking advantage of Williams’ absence, the Browns rushed for 193 yards. Nick Chubb had a career-high 165 yards and three touchdowns, including an 88-yard TD.
The Ravens were favored in the game and lost, dropping to 2-2. The 40 points scored by the Browns were their most of the year by far; they were held to 13 points in each of their two losses.
This has been a rough two-week stretch for Thomas and the Ravens following last week’s loss to the Chiefs.
