Despite being less than a month into his tenure as Miami Dolphins head coach, Mike McDaniel is already winning over plenty of fans.
A funny video of McDaniel at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday went viral. San Francisco 49ers GM John Lynch was speaking with reporters and offered high praise for McDaniel. Little did Lynch know that McDaniel was actually in the back of the room listening. Take a look at the hilarious clip.

It is hard to decide what the best part of that video is — McDaniel’s rock concert-like fist pump or his enthusiastic, “Eff yeah, John!”
McDaniel was an assistant with the 49ers for the last several years. He was their offensive coordinator last season after having served as their run game coordinator for the four years prior to that. McDaniel was then hired as head coach of the Dolphins in February, replacing Brian Flores.
Most of the recent headlines about McDaniel have been focused on his race. But beyond all that, McDaniel already seems like a very easy guy to root for.
