Jerry Jones feeling bullish about potential Cowboys’ playoff run
The Dallas Cowboys have won one playoff game under current head coach Jason Garrett, but owner Jerry Jones can see that record changing this season.
The Cowboys pulled out a 29-23 overtime win on Sunday, improving to 8-5 and making themselves clear favorites to win the NFC East. The Cowboys had to overcome multiple Philadelphia comebacks and a somewhat slow start to win that game, and that has Jones feeling like he has a team that can overcome a lot of adversity and should never be counted out.
Does this Cowboys team look like one that can win in the postseason?
Jerry Jones: "It does to me. Because I saw them have every opportunity to get discouraged, to basically let up against a real gallant effort by Philadelphia. Our guys just didn't get discouraged."

Jones is famously optimistic, sometimes with good reason and sometimes without. In this instance, however, he may be onto something, as the Cowboys have won five straight behind a very formidable defense and look like a real threat.
